1. What food do you like that most people hate?
I think spinach would qualify.. I also like plain yogurt and buttermilk.
Don't know how "most people" feel about those.
2. What food do you hate that most people love?
Coconut. I don't like the taste and find the texture annoying.
3. What famous person, whom many people may find attractive, is most unappealing to you?
I never saw what the big deal was about Cary Grant.
4. What famous person, whom many people may find unappealing, do you find
I always thought Beau Bridges was way more attractive than his brother Jeff.
5. What popular trend baffles you?
My first thought was to say body piercing, but Stephanie beat me to it.
That's what I get for doing the Friday Fives on Saturday!
Sooo.. okay, karaoke. Baffling indeed.
This afternoon my class wrote the final exam for the theory portion of the taxation course.
Not one person left early.
I didn't rush, paced myself, and just barely finished. Many didn't and a few squeezed a few extra minutes out of the instructor.
I think I did well... all the preparation helped as did the review the instructor gave in the morning session.
Now I don't have to look at that stuff for another week, when the computer phase begins.
Oh yeah, the computers.
When we arrived at the class this morning, the tables were crammed with monitors, keyboards, mice and lots and lots of heavy duty electrical wires.
This would normally not be a bad thing except that the tables were already too small to begin with, and we were about to write a three hour open book exam using TWO huge folders and innumerable notes, forms, guides, and other references.
Luckily I've always done schoolwork on my lap (as opposed to a desk) and was thus prepared for that contingency.
So lap and a square foot of table (and floor) it was, and I only really seriously lost my calculator once.
And to make it even worse nothing was connected so I couldn't even check e-mail or play solitaire!
Discouraging or inspiring?
