Not the Friday Fives
Just when I decide that it's time to get back to writing and that the Friday Fives would be a nice way to ease back into it, they (FF's) take a week off.
Bah.
Luckily, Mr. WLA has gallantly jumped into the breach (Is that the right cliche? Too lazy to check.) and composed his own questions in his own extremely unique fashion.
So with thanks to the author, here are my answers to the:
WLA Finally Five On Friday.
If you were stranded on a deserted island and could have three of your favorite books that you currently own, what books would you have with you?
The Story of a Shipwrecked Sailor: Who Drifted on a Life Raft for Ten Days Without Food or Water, Was Proclaimed a National Hero, Kissed by Beauty Q
by Gabriel Garcia Marquez,
Okay I don't have that one but I do have (and have read) Love in the Time of Cholera by the same author.
Life of Pi
by Yann Martel
Don't exactly have it either but Stephanie does, and Rob read excerpts of it for English class last year.
Lord of the Flies by William Golding
Don't know if I still have it, but I used to!
Same Island. If you could have two personal items. Matches. Scissors etc. what two items would they be?
Rowboat.
Oars.
Same Island. If you could have one musical piece that would play over and over, what would it be? All music included.
Ebb Tide (Righteous Brothers)
Same Island. If you could have one food that would be there forever what would it be?
Tofu!
Island nearby: You see an island nearby and decide to swim over but you can only take three items mentioned above. What three items would they be?
Rowboat
Oars
My laptop
Bonus Question? There is someone on the next island but you will not have sex with them. Not now. Not ever… Who would you want that neighbor to be?
Thor Heyerdahl!
More better (as my kids used to say) entries coming up. Really.
If you find an authentic shipwrecked duckie, you win $100!
American!
Also explained on the toy company site.
